I’ve done hundreds TV ads over the years, not to mention films for social, content, websites and what-not. This is a tiny selection that didn’t fit into a brand section.
Some are very old from when we only had 4 channels and no internet and therefore
in the old square format and from a time when not every ad had to have dancing.
You may even remember some of them. Some cost a lot to produce, some not.
The Persil music was by Fatboy Slim and the ad won awards. Beconase was the first music I wrote for an ad, and it didn’t win awards.
Kenco was a long running campaign which was up against the Gold Blend couple. We had Cheri Lunghi directed by Richard Lonchraine, the days when the ads made the news! I was global CD on Andrex and again, made a fair few ads over the years, some of which literally left a scar but I got to work with Rick Mayall. The Chessington campaigns were all shot before the rides were installed, which was an interesting challenge. The Giant Smarties ads wouldn’t get made today and the Polhill ad was shot for next to nothing at the last minute. They all solved a client’s problem. Enjoy.
